Labor Day Recipe - I AM Hot Honey BBQ Chicken Skewers

Labor Day is all about good food, good company, and a little extra flavor on the grill. This year, take your barbecue to the next level with Hot Honey BBQ Chicken Skewers — sweet, smoky, and with just the right kick from I Am Hot Honey.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 500g boneless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp I Am Hot Honey (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt + pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers (soaked in water 30 mins before grilling)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, and I Am Hot Honey.
  2. Add chicken cubes to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Thread chicken, peppers, and onion onto skewers.
  4. Grill on medium-high heat, turning often, until chicken is cooked through (about 10–12 minutes).
