Hot Honey Burrata and Heirloom Tomato Summer Salad (With an Italian Kick)

Light, spicy, and straight-up gorgeous.

Because summer should taste like a sun-drenched garden… with a little heat.

🔥 Why You’ll Love It:

This dish is sunshine on a plate. Creamy burrata, juicy heirloom tomatoes, and that unmistakable I Am Hot Honey kick — with notes of chili, orange zest, and umami-rich black garlic. It’s simple, sexy, and ready in under 10 minutes. Serve it as a starter, a side, or just eat it with your hands and call it self-care.

🍯 Ingredients:

  • 250g (1 ball) burrata cheese
  • 3–4 ripe heirloom tomatoes, sliced thick
  • A handful of fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp I Am Hot Honey
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Flaky sea salt & cracked pepper to taste
  • Optional: grilled sourdough or ciabatta to serve

🐝 Instructions:

  1. Slice & Style:
Arrange tomato slices on a serving platter like you’re setting up a Vogue shoot. Place the burrata ball right in the center.
  2. Drizzle That Gold:
Pour I Am Hot Honey over the burrata and tomatoes. Don’t be shy — this is the flavor bomb moment.
  3. Finish Like a Pro:
Add a glug of olive oil, scatter fresh basil, and finish with sea salt and cracked pepper.
  4. Serve With:
Toasted sourdough, a glass of chilled white wine, and your best “I just whipped this up” smile.

🌍 Zero Plastic. All Sass.

Served on a plate, not out of a squeeze tube. Our jars are made from hive waste, our lids grow bee gardens, and this meal? It’s a protest against boring food and boring packaging.

Repeat after me - I AM HOT HONEY
