   •   Zest of ½ orange

   •   Fresh thyme (optional, for garnish)

   •   Cracked black pepper (optional)

For the Salad:

   •   2 handfuls baby spinach or mixed greens

   •   1 orange, peeled & sliced into rounds or segments

   •   1 small red onion, thinly sliced

   •   1 avocado, sliced (optional)

   •   1 punnet cherry tomatoes, halved

   •   Fresh mint or basil leaves

For the Dressing:

   •   1 tbsp I AM HOT HONEY

   •   1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

   •   2 tbsp olive oil

   •   Pinch of sea salt & cracked black pepper

   •   Optional: pinch of paprika or black garlic paste for depth

Instructions

1. Fry the Halloumi:

   •   Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

   •   Add the halloumi slices and cook 2–3 minutes each side until golden.

   •   Once cooked, remove from heat and drizzle with I AM HOT HONEY.

   •   Sprinkle with orange zest, thyme, and a little black pepper.

2. Make the Salad Base:

   •   In a large bowl, layer the baby greens, orange slices, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and avocado.

   •   Toss through torn mint or basil for freshness.

3. Shake Up the Dressing:

   •   In a small jar, shake together I AM HOT HONEY, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional paprika.

   •   Pour over the salad just before serving.

4. Assemble & Serve:

   •   Place the warm, honey-drizzled halloumi over the top of the salad.

   •   Finish with a final flourish of zest, seeds or chili flakes if you like it hot AF.

   •   Serve immediately with sass.

Why You’ll Love It

It’s sweet. It’s salty. It’s citrusy. It’s spicy. It’s basically you—in a bowl.

The halloumi brings the party, the salad keeps things fresh, and the I AM HOT HONEY ties it all together in one fierce drizzle.
